sounds.... scary.
why i always think about my future and where i will go once i graduate around 3:30 a.m. is beyond me! but here i am, worrying about the future, MY future. i have so many questions, should i go back to my summer job that i had last summer, should i start working on my goal to enlist into the military, should i start applying for jobs all over the United States saying that i'm available right after graduation??? I'm so worried about my future, how its going to turn out, what it's going to look like. I have started to look for available apartments in various places to get an idea of how much rent is going to cost, and try to think of what it might cost to live in that area. i don't have a car, so that will be an investment i will have to look into once i graduate. i know God has amazing plans for me, but i can't help but wonder, what is in store for me once i graduate?
i have heard numerous times the good ol' saying "having art and photography as your major aren't going to get you any jobs" and for a split second, i was starting to believe that. but now that i look online for available positions open in different places, it's actually going to get me more jobs than i thought. there are so many ways i could go, i could be a manager at a photo studio. but the thing is, i haven't the slightest idea what i want to do with my life.
so this next following semester, i have a plan. somewhat. i'm going to work my butt off and save money throughout the year, if i can save for Vegas, i can save for my future. its the least i can do. do great in all of my classes, focus on my photography classes, study more for art history, work with my professor on my resume, be deep in prayer about upcoming graduation and getting a job. get a budget idea, start working off my college loans and die working. sounds awesome, right?
i have so many questions, concerns, whatever you want to call them. in my mind i am totally pacing back and forth in my room but i don't want to wake my parents. i guess the good thing is that i'm flexible, i will move for a job, i would prefer the south ( i hate snow), but i will go where ever the Lord takes me. I just wish i could see where he is going with this. I just need to be calm, breathe, and know that He is God and that he has this figured out (Psalm 46:10).
exhale.
i would love it if you put me on your prayer list.
