in our world today, we are obsessed with what is online. who's online. who posted that, who posted this. i am not excluding me from this group of people. i am constantly on Facebook, whether it be for my photography, or just in general scrolling.
I'm not saying you need to get off Facebook, not at all. but i just have noticed that instead of just hanging out with friends or family, we are all looking down at our phones. i think that is incredibly sad. if my grandma was here, she would be so disappointed in me and my family. because instead of turning off the TV or our phones and having family time, we are more interested in the Big Bang Theory. don't get me wrong, lovely show. but when does the show become more important than hanging out with family or playing a board game one night instead of watching Chicago Fire. the show will go on without you. get over it, seriously.
when does what is online and what is on the television become more important than spending time with friends without looking at Facebook on your phone. i know it will be hard, but time will fly by fast when you're laughing about something funny.
social media isn't bad for you, but it can be. when social media becomes more important than friends, food, family, or anything that is necessary to live. (i need my best friends to live a healthy life, crazy i know.)
have you consumed more social media than anything else? it's just not social media that can be bad if we dedicate too much of our time to it. anything really can be bad for us if we cut off all other things. if i didn't talk to my brother at least once a week, he would think something is wrong. no, i'm just spending too much time playing Sims, or on Facebook. or eating. I like food, what can I say?
well, to end things on a good note. here is the latest song i'm crazy about. my brother introduced me too them and i love We Came As Romans. This is a new song from a recently new Pop Goes Punk album (Vol 6),yes it's a Taylor Swift cover and it is 10 TIMES BETTER than the original. I LOVE IT.... yes, i listen to screamo. my brother is a big influence on who i listen too. he introduced me to my favorite band, Breathe California. so give them a look while you're at it. no, i'm not being paid to promote the band. i don't get paid to do anything on here really. just in case you were wondering.
